Senior SAP Payroll Consultant - Outside IR35

We are currently looking for an exceptional Senior SAP Payroll Consultant to support a growing portfolio of SAP payroll projects commencing from October.

Our client is looking to strengthen their senior payroll capability with a highly experienced, hands-on consultant who can confidently operate across discovery, implementation and client-facing activities.

This is a hands-on consulting position requiring someone who can combine strong SAP Payroll expertise with excellent client-facing and workshop skills.

You will be expected to:

• Configure SAP Payroll solutions hands-on.

• Lead and facilitate client workshops.

• Support discovery and requirements-gathering activities.

• Guide clients through testing and ensure effective delivery.

• Provide expert advice and challenge where appropriate.

• Build strong relationships and establish trust with clients.

• Work confidently with stakeholders at all levels.

• Support implementation projects through the relevant delivery life cycle.

• Work effectively within the client's established delivery methodology.

The current project portfolio includes at least two discovery projects and two implementations, with the wider project mix expected to be finalised as projects commence.

We are looking for a top-quality Senior SAP Payroll Consultant with proven experience in:

• SAP Payroll configuration and delivery.

• Employee Central Payroll (ECP).

• Client-facing consulting and workshop leadership.

• Requirements gathering and discovery.

• Testing and implementation.

• Working independently and taking ownership of deliverables.

• Communicating complex payroll concepts clearly to clients.

• Building credibility and trusted relationships with stakeholders.

This opportunity is best suited to a genuine senior SAP Payroll consultant, rather than someone who is primarily project-management or coordination focused.

You should be comfortable getting into the detail of the configuration while also stepping back to lead workshops, advise clients and take ownership of delivery.
