Project Manager - Global Payroll Transformation, Outside IR35, £500 per day, (mostly remote)

Outside IR35 Contract Role for a Project Manager who has extensive experience delivering global, multi country tax and Payroll transformations.

You will lead delivery of a global tax and payroll transformation across multi-countries as the programme moves into the build phase. The initiative will consolidate tax and payroll operations that are currently managed independently across multiple operating companies.

You will manage the implementation of a new global payroll platform, Deel, alongside the consolidation of corporate tax processes through BDO. The objective is to standardise payroll and tax operations across the region and create a consistent, scalable operating model.

You will coordinate rollout across approximately lots of operating companies spanning circa 40 territories across EMEA, with several thousand employees expected to transition onto the new payroll platform.

You will work closely with internal HR, finance and transformation teams, alongside external partners including BDO and Deel, ensuring delivery milestones are met and dependencies across payroll, tax and HR systems are effectively managed.

You will provide clear programme structure, governance and delivery oversight during a critical phase of the transformation as the programme moves from design into build.

This is initially 6 months outside IR35, largely remote (with very occasional ad-hoc site visits) via a technology consultancy. There would be extensions, with HR modules to follow.
