Contract Description

Tech Support Specialist - Outside IR35 - 6 months +

Central London, 100% on-site - £330–£375 per day - Outside IR35 - Initial 6 months

We’re working with a global, fast-growing brand to find a Tech On-Site Support Specialist for their Central London office.

The role

This isn’t a high-volume L1 ticket role. Basic requests go to a Global Service Desk. You’ll be the on-site technical lead and the friendly face of Workspace Technology in the office.

You’ll handle Level 2 problems, run walk-in support and make sure A/V for events goes smoothly.

What you’ll be doing

  • Running the office’s walk-in “Tech Basecamp”, giving prompt, friendly face-to-face support
  • Fixing complex hardware, software and SaaS issues escalated from the Global Service Desk
  • Spotting recurring issues, doing root cause analysis and working with Senior Specialists and Engineering on permanent fixes
  • Managing the full hardware lifecycle locally: staging, provisioning, deployment, inventory and secure disposal
  • Looking after the office’s A/V day to day and supporting in-person and hybrid events, including global Town Halls

What you’ll bring

  • Strong hands-on experience administering macOS in an enterprise environment, including MDM deployment and troubleshooting
  • A good working knowledge of Google Workspace, Okta/SSO, JML processes and RBAC, and confidence fixing MFA and access issues
  • Confidence diagnosing and repairing enterprise laptops, peripherals and conferencing equipment
  • Experience using an ITSM platform such as Jira Service Management
  • Great communication skills and the ability to calm frustrated users with empathy and patience
  • A proactive approach: you spot problems before a big event or rollout and have a backup plan ready

Nice to have:

ITIL certification, and experience with Logitech Rally Bar, Google CTL Chromebox for Meetings or MacBook-based A/V setups.

Good to know:

The role is fully office-based in Central London with early starts, so the office is covered from the start of the business day and early events and Town Halls are supported. You’ll join a global team reporting to a manager based in Europe.
