Overview

ITV is seeking a Business Analyst to support activities across Device Management and IT Asset Management. The role will involve analysing technology asset data, reviewing device and asset management processes, and working with stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement.

The ideal candidate will combine strong business analysis and data analysis skills with practical experience of managing IT assets and device estates within an enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Device Management: Analyse device management processes and data, supporting the effective management and tracking of devices across the organisation.

• IT Asset Management: Support the management of IT assets throughout their life cycle, helping maintain accurate asset records and improve visibility of the technology estate.

• Data Analysis: Analyse asset and device data to identify trends, discrepancies, risks and opportunities for process improvement.

• Business Analysis: Gather and document business requirements, assess existing processes and translate stakeholder needs into actionable recommendations.

• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve asset management workflows, data quality, reporting and operational efficiency.

• Stakeholder Engagement: Work with technical teams and business stakeholders to understand requirements, communicate findings and support the implementation of improvements.

• Reporting & Insights: Produce clear analysis and reporting to support decision-making around device and IT asset management.

Required Experience & Skills

• Previous experience as a Business Analyst, IT Business Analyst or IT Asset Analyst.

• Experience in Device Management and IT Asset Management (ITAM).

• Strong data analysis skills, with the ability to interpret complex information and identify actionable insights.

• Experience analysing asset inventories, device records, life cycle information or related technology data.

• Strong requirements-gathering, documentation and process-mapping skills.

• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

• A structured, analytical approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.

Desirable Experience

• Experience working within a large enterprise IT environment.

• Familiarity with device management platforms, IT asset management tools or IT service management systems.

• Experience with reporting and data analysis tools such as Excel, Power BI or SQL.

• Knowledge of hardware asset life cycles, asset discovery, inventory management and data reconciliation.
