SAP Funds & Grants Management Consultant - S/4HANA Transformation - Outside IR35

London - Finance Transformation - Banking - Hybrid working 2-3 days in office

We are seeking an experienced SAP Funds Management & Grants Management Consultant to support a major Finance transformation at a leading international financial institution in London.

This is a hands-on functional design and business analysis role, helping shape the future ERP platform and target architecture for a major transformation programme.

Key responsibilities

• Lead business and system requirements gathering with Finance, IT and senior business stakeholders.
• Provide specialist SAP Funds Management (FM) and Grants Management (GM) expertise.
• Support the design of donor funds, grant life cycles, budgetary control and associated finance processes.
• Conduct fit-gap analysis, validate requirements and define target-state SAP processes.
• Work with solution architects on integrations, interfaces and technical requirements.
• Contribute to the ERP roadmap, functional blueprint and systems integrator RFP.

Essential experience

• Strong hands-on SAP configuration experience, with deep expertise in SAP Funds Management and Grants Management.
• Finance transformation and business analysis experience.
• Understanding of donor funds, grant life cycle processes, budgetary control and Finance integration.
• Strong stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills.
• Experience translating business requirements into functional designs, controls and test scenarios.

Experience with SAP FI/CO, Project Systems, Public Sector Management and S/4HANA transformation is highly relevant.
