COMPANY PROFILE

A listed international real estate investment business is undertaking a significant transformation of its property and financial management infrastructure through the implementation of Yardi Voyager 8.

The business operates a substantial multi-asset UK property portfolio and is moving towards a more centralised technology platform to strengthen financial reporting, data ownership and operational control.

They are seeking an experienced Yardi Programme Manager / Implementation Lead to take ownership of the remaining implementation and drive the programme through to a fixed go-live deadline.

ROLE OVERVIEW

This is a hands-on programme delivery role requiring someone with proven experience leading end-to-end Yardi Voyager implementations.

Programme Manager will act as the central point between senior finance leadership, Yardi, outsourced property management, external accounting providers and internal finance teams.

The programme incorporates both property management and investment accounting, with workstreams spanning property and lease data, financial migration, entity accounting, intercompany accounting, consolidations, banking integrations and reporting.

A significant amount of configuration has already been completed. The priority is now to establish control of the remaining programme, manage dependencies and ensure each internal and external stakeholder delivers against the agreed implementation timetable.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Take overall ownership of the remaining Yardi Voyager 8 implementation through to go-live.
• Establish and manage the programme plan, critical path, milestones, risks and dependencies.
• Coordinate parallel property management and investment accounting workstreams.
• Act as the primary intermediary between Yardi, outsourced service providers and internal finance stakeholders.
• Hold external providers accountable for deliverables and proactively resolve gaps between individual workstreams.
• Oversee migration of financial data from the existing ERP/accounting environment into Yardi.
• Coordinate migration and validation of property, lease, tenant and service charge data.
• Manage the overall data-validation process, working with internal finance and property SMEs where required.
• Oversee financial opening balances and entity structures.
• Support implementation of investment accounting functionality covering entity-level accounting, intercompany accounting, consolidations and eliminations.
• Coordinate banking and systems integration requirements.
• Define and manage UAT, cutover, go/no-go and go-live acceptance.
• Ensure internal and external teams complete agreed activities within the required timetable.
• Provide clear reporting to senior leadership across progress, risks, dependencies and outstanding decisions.
• Bring structure, accountability and pace to a complex multi-stakeholder implementation.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

• Strong Yardi Voyager implementation experience is essential, ideally including Voyager 8.
• Proven delivery of at least one or two end-to-end Yardi implementations.
• Hands-on implementation capability rather than purely programme governance experience.
• Strong understanding of property accounting and finance-system implementation.
• Yardi Investment Accounting / Investment Management experience highly advantageous.
• Strong financial data migration, mapping and validation experience.
• Understanding of property, lease, tenant and service charge data.
• Experience managing UAT, cutover, go/no-go and production go-live.
• Strong track record managing multiple third-party providers and complex stakeholder groups.
• Able to challenge suppliers and drive accountability against fixed deadlines.
• Comfortable operating independently without a large internal project or technical team.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to bridge finance, property and technology.
• Comfortable working in a high-pressure, deadline-driven programme environment.
• Existing relationships within the Yardi ecosystem would be advantageous.

CONTRACT DETAILS

• Interim / contract assignment.

• UK-based with remote/flexible working.
• Some flexibility around international time zones may occasionally be required.
• Day rate dependent on experience.
• Outside IR35
• Initial priority is successful delivery through implementation and go-live.
