About the Role

Business Analyst – SimCorp Dimension (6-Month Contract, Outside IR35)

Overview

• We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with strong SimCorp Dimension expertise to support a change/implementation program within a buy-side or asset management environment.
• This is a 6-month contract engagement, based in London, and confirmed Outside IR35.

Responsibilities

• Gather, document, and validate business requirements across front, middle, and back office functions using SimCorp Dimension.
• Act as a liaison between business stakeholders, technical teams, and SimCorp, translating requirements into functional specifications.
• Support configuration, testing (UAT), and validation of SimCorp Dimension modules (e.g., Accounting, Compliance, Performance, Investment Book of Record).
• Produce clear documentation:
• process maps
• functional specs
• gap analyses
• test scripts
•  
• Support data migration, reconciliation, and integration activities related to SimCorp implementation or upgrade projects.
• Facilitate workshops and stakeholder meetings to drive requirement sign-off and issue resolution.
• Identify process improvements and support change management activities.

Required Skills

• Proven hands-on experience with SimCorp Dimension (configuration, workflows, or implementation projects).
• Strong background in investment management, asset management, or financial services business analysis.
• Experience with front-to-back office operations (trading, portfolio management, compliance, accounting, or performance).
• Excellent stakeholder management and documentation skills.
• Familiarity with Agile/Waterfall delivery methodologies.
