Data Migration Consultant | Wealth Management

We're supporting a leading Wealth Management organisation through a major custody transformation programme and are looking for an experienced Data Migration Consultant to play a pivotal role in the successful migration from two Legacy custodians to a single custody platform.

This is a business-critical project where data accuracy is paramount. You'll work alongside the new custodian's Migration Team, driving data extraction, transformation, reconciliation and validation activities to ensure a seamless transition for client and asset data.

What you'll be doing:

• Deliver end-to-end data migration activities across multiple custody platforms
• Extract, consolidate and validate data from numerous internal and external sources
• Perform detailed reconciliation of client, asset, holdings and valuation data
• Identify, investigate and resolve data discrepancies and quality issues
• Support migration testing, validation and audit requirements
• Follow established migration run books and project governance processes
• Work closely with internal stakeholders and the custodian's migration specialists

We're looking for:

• Proven experience delivering custodian or platform migration projects within Wealth Management
• Advanced SQL skills with experience querying and validating large datasets
• Strong data reconciliation and data quality expertise
• Excellent analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail
• Experience working with custody, portfolio or investment platform data
• Advanced Excel and ideally Power BI for analysis and reporting
• Strong communication skills with the ability to document findings and manage stakeholder

?? Rate: £400-£500 per day (Outside IR35)

?? Contract: Initial 6 month contract with extension
