SR2 is partnering with an exciting consultancy delivering major transformation programmes across secure government and public sector environments. We are looking for an experienced Service Transformation Director to lead strategic service improvement and operational transformation initiatives for high-profile clients.

This is an excellent opportunity to shape large scale transformation programmes, engage with senior stakeholders and influence the future direction of critical services.

The Opportunity

You'll be responsible for leading complex transformation programmes from strategy through to delivery, ensuring organisations are equipped to adopt sustainable service improvements while maintaining operational resilience.

Responsibilities

  • Lead strategic service transformation and operational change programmes.
  • Develop transformation roadmaps alongside executive stakeholders.
  • Assess operational maturity, organisational capability and service readiness.
  • Design governance frameworks that support successful programme delivery.
  • Improve service operations, processes, tooling and operating models.
  • Manage programme governance, risks, dependencies and delivery assurance.
  • Lead business readiness and organisational change activities.
  • Develop future operating models and continuous service improvement strategies.
  • Produce high-quality Statements of Work (SoWs), proposals and delivery plans.
  • Support business development by identifying opportunities to expand client engagements.

We're looking for experience in

  • Service Transformation Director, Programme Director, Transformation Director, Transformation Lead or Senior Delivery Consultant positions.
  • Large-scale service transformation and operational change programmes.
  • Service management, governance and organisational change.
  • Complex multi-supplier delivery environments.
  • Executive stakeholder engagement.
  • Producing SoWs, client proposals and transformation packages.
  • ITIL and service operations best practice.
  • Government, Defence, Policing or other highly secure environments.
  • Active SC or DV Clearance.
