Regulatory Reporting Consultant – Capital Focus

UK (Remote) | 3-month initial contract | Outside IR35

A fast-scaling financial services business is seeking a Senior Regulatory Reporting Consultant to lead capital-focused regulatory reporting across multiple entities, working closely with Finance, Treasury, Risk, and senior stakeholders.

Key Focus

• Ownership of capital reporting (COREP, ICAAP, Pillar 1/2/3, Large Exposures)
• Strengthening controls, governance, and reporting accuracy

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of capital regulatory reporting and internal
• Own submission of COREP, ICAAP, Pillar 1/2/3, Large Exposures, and other capital returns
• Maintain robust control and governance frameworks across reporting processes
• Ensure accurate and timely regulatory submissions
• Review and challenge capital data inputs, assumptions, and reporting outputs
• Interpret capital regulations and assess the impact of regulatory change
• Support process improvements, automation initiatives, and new product reporting impacts
• Partner with Treasury, Finance, and Risk teams to enhance capital reporting frameworks

Experience Required

• 5+ years' regulatory reporting experience within a UK-regulated bank or financial institution
• Strong capital reporting knowledge (COREP, ICAAP, Pillar 1/2/3, Large Exposures, PRA capital framework)
• Strong understanding of UK/EU capital regulations and reporting requirements
• Proven controls, governance, and reconciliation expertise
• Strong analytical and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced, delivery-focused environment
