Value Governance Analyst — Banking

Data Inc is deploying a live value governance application into a large-scale

transformation programme at a major financial institution. We are looking for an

Analyst to join a lean delivery team: someone equally comfortable with financial data

and structured analytical work, who can build and maintain data connections to

enterprise finance and operational source systems, and produce the governance

outputs that programme leadership relies on each week.

The first phase of the engagement is technical and precise: you validate data

extracted from enterprise GL and procurement systems against the client’s own

finance records, build the evidence base for each value indicator, and support

deployment of the application into the client’s own infrastructure. The ongoing phase

is the weekly and monthly output cadence — data quality checks, evidence capture

sessions with workstream leads, pack production — working closely with the Value

Governance Lead.

The right person brings

Working knowledge of an enterprise GL system at data level — extraction,

reconciliation, field mapping — in a financial services environment

Confidence with structured financial data: reconciliation, variance analysis, data

quality investigation

A financial services background — banking, wealth management or insurance

The ability to produce accurate governance outputs from structured data and own

the output cadence with light supervision

Confidence in structured stakeholder-facing sessions — monthly evidence capture

with workstream leads is a core part of the role

Availability on a fixed-term PAYE basis (not inside/outside IR35)

Useful experience on top of the above

Experience with enterprise procurement systems and API-based data extraction

A part or full accounting qualification, or active study towards one

Experience with benefits or performance tracking in a programme context

Familiarity with containerised application environments
