Duration: Approximately 16 weeks
Engagement Type: Competitive daily rate plus delivery bonus tied to project success.
Realistic Days Across 16 Weeks: 35-40 days with possible extension upto 1-2 years
Location: Hybrid / London
IR35 Status: Outside

Role Overview:

• As a Data Lead, you will play a pivotal role in defining the future-state data model and governance framework for a large-scale retail media transformation program.
• You'll work cross-functionally with commercial, operational, technology, and analytics teams to enhance data integrity and reporting capabilities. Your mission? Establish a scalable "single source of truth" across the retail media ecosystem!

Key Responsibilities:

• Define a unified future-state data model that supports strategic objectives.
• Establish comprehensive data governance frameworks, ownership, and quality standards.
• Assess current data flows and identify governance gaps to ensure best practices.
• Design principles for a seamless single source of truth across systems.
• Support reporting, forecasting, and business intelligence initiatives.
• Collaborate with enterprise architecture and process transformation teams.
• Develop a roadmap for future-state data capabilities that drive success.

What We're Looking For:
Required Experience:

• Strong background in data governance, data architecture, or enterprise data management.
• Proven experience designing effective data operating models and governance frameworks.
• Expertise in data quality, ownership, metadata, and reporting structures.
• Ability to navigate complex enterprise system landscapes.
• Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills across business and technology teams.

Preferred Experience:

• Familiarity with retail, retail media, media, or customer analytics.
• Experience with CRM systems, reporting, and operational data ecosystems.
• Exposure to martech/adtech data environments is a plus.
• Knowledge of GDPR and enterprise governance requirements.
