ERP Solution Architect (SAP S/4HANA) - Outside IR35 - Hybrid

TalentBank Technology is supporting an organisation within the engineering and technology sector to engage an experienced ERP Solution Architect on an initial 6-month contract.

This role will play a key part in a major SAP S/4HANA transformation programme, focused on solution architecture, integration governance, and enterprise ERP modernisation. The successful consultant will take ownership of end-to-end solution design across SAP S/4HANA, SAP Concur, and associated integrations, while working closely with system integrators and senior stakeholders to ensure successful delivery.

This is a high-impact role suited to an architect who can combine strategic oversight, stakeholder management and technical leadership across complex ERP programmes.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end solution architecture for SAP S/4HANA upgrade and transformation initiatives.
• Design and govern integrated ERP solutions across SAP S/4HANA, SAP Concur and adjacent SAP platforms.
• Lead and support test automation strategy, including Tricentis and related tooling.
• Act as the primary architectural interface with the System Integrator (SI) partner, ensuring alignment to architecture standards and delivery objectives.
• Provide architectural oversight across build, testing, migration and go-live activities.

Required Experience

• Strong hands-on experience working as a SAP/ERP Solution Architect.
• Proven delivery experience across SAP S/4HANA upgrades, migrations or transformation programmes.
• Experience operating within SI-led delivery environments.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills across business and technical teams.
• Knowledge of SAP Activate methodology, SAP accelerators and enterprise architecture best practices.
