Contract Business Analyst - Financial Services
Hybrid | Bristol or Maidenhead (1 day onsite per week)
A leading financial services organisation is seeking an experienced Contract Business Analyst to support a large-scale finance systems transformation within a complex post‑merger integration programme.
The organisation is undergoing significant operational and technology change. This role will join an established transformation programme and play a critical role in delivering a finance systems workstream.
Key Responsibilities
- Elicit, analyse, and document business and functional requirements for finance systems
- Work closely with finance stakeholders to understand current‑state and target‑state processes
- Support systems replacement, integration, and data migration activities
- Produce high‑quality artefacts including process maps, requirements documents, user stories, and impact assessments
- Collaborate with delivery, technology, and transformation teams to ensure alignment
- Support delivery against demanding programme timelines in a change‑heavy environment
Required Experience
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst on complex transformation or integration programmes
- Strong background in finance systems and/or back‑office systems replacement
- Experience within financial services or regulated environments
- Exposure to post‑merger integration or large‑scale transformation programmes preferred
- Comfortable operating in fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environments
- Strong stakeholder engagement and documentation skills
This is a hybrid role with one day a week on-site, candidates must live locally to either Bristol or Maidenhead.
This role is outside IR35 and will be starting in the next couple of weeks, the contract runs until mid-September.
