Technical Business Analyst

We're working with a global leader in workforce solutions and digital transformation on this exciting opportunity.

Are you a high-level Software Developer who speaks the language of both Ruby on Rails and Finance? We are looking for a unique hybrid professional to bridge the gap between complex financial requirements and technical execution for a major digital overhaul. This is a 6-month Outside IR35 contract where you will serve as the technical gatekeeper for finance and digital teams.

The Role

• Act as the primary technical interface between Accounting, Controlling, and FP&A teams to translate high-level business needs into actionable Ruby on Rails specifications.
• Lead the design of sustainable technical solutions while providing hands-on code modification, troubleshooting, and application reviews.
• Drive process analysis to identify inefficiencies in finance workflows and recommend digital simplification opportunities.
• Manage the requirements lifecycle, ensuring all business logic is transparent, documented, and testable for compliance and audit purposes.
• Collaborate with onshore and offshore engineering teams to manage release, deployment, and CI/CD pipeline governance.
  
  

What You'll Need

• Extensive experience as a Senior Software Developer within complex enterprise environments, specifically working with Ruby on Rails.
• Proven track record in Technical Business Analysis, with the ability to challenge senior stakeholders and prioritize value-driven requirements.
• Deep domain knowledge of Finance, Accounting, and Controlling processes.
• Hands-on technical proficiency with modern development practices, including Cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and automated deployment pipelines.
• A pragmatic, outcome-focused mindset capable of delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.
