Job Description:

We are looking for talented and experienced Content Writers to work with our client, responsible for producing high-quality, engaging, and accessible content across a range of platforms and formats.

This role requires a strong ability to translate complex and often technical information into clear, compelling, and user-friendly content that resonates with diverse audiences.

  • You will work with a variety of source materials, including research reports, policy documents, expert interviews, and personal or lived-experience stories, transforming these into well-structured copy suitable for website publication, multimedia scripts (such as video and audio), and social media content.
  • A key part of the role involves shaping content that is not only informative but also easy to navigate, understand, and discover.
  • The ideal candidate will have proven experience researching and distilling complex subject matter, with the confidence to identify key insights and communicate them effectively. You will also be comfortable conducting interviews with both subject matter experts and individuals sharing personal experiences, ensuring all content is handled with sensitivity, accuracy, and clarity.
  • You must be able to work to detailed briefs, adhering to established tone of voice and style guidelines, while maintaining consistency and quality across all outputs. Strong editorial judgement and attention to detail are essential, alongside the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • A solid understanding of Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) and how to apply best practices in copywriting is critical, ensuring content is optimised for search, reach, and engagement.
  • Familiarity with digital content best practices, including structuring content for readability and accessibility, is also important.

Experience writing within health, science, or similarly complex subject areas is highly desirable, particularly where accuracy, clarity, and audience sensitivity are key.

Overall, this role suits a proactive, curious, and adaptable writer who is passionate about making complex information accessible and meaningful to a wide audience.
