About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Delivery Lead to support major transformation programmes for a global information services and events business. You will work closely with teams across the organisation to deliver high-impact financial systems and process change, ensuring programmes land successfully, on time, and with measurable value.

This role bridges strategy and execution, leading delivery across ERP platforms, finance workflows, supplier onboarding, payments tooling, and compliance systems.

What You'll Be Doing

Delivery Leadership

• Lead end-to-end delivery of complex initiatives, managing scope, schedules, risks, and interdependencies.
• Oversee project life cycles from initiation through closure, ensuring alignment to delivery frameworks.
• Coordinate cross-functional internal teams and partners to deliver outcomes on time, on budget, and to quality standards.

Performance & Quality

• Monitor delivery performance, ensuring milestones, deliverables, and RAID items are properly governed.
• Provide assurance across documentation, reporting, and quality of outputs.

Budget & Resource Management

• Build and manage resource plans and delivery capacity.
• Own budget management in partnership with Finance, including oversight of third-party vendors.

Stakeholder Engagement

• Facilitate governance forums, steering committees, and decision-making points.
• Maintain transparent communication with sponsors, product, engineering, PMO, finance, and external partners.

Continuous Improvement

• Contribute to improving delivery practices, standards, and tooling.
• Identify and resolve delivery bottlenecks and inefficiencies.

What You'll Bring

Core Skills & Experience

• Strong track record leading delivery across complex, multi-system environments.
• Excellent governance, RAID management, planning, and cross-functional coordination.
• Confident communicator capable of engaging senior stakeholders.
• Ability to influence without authority and drive delivery momentum.

Finance Systems Expertise (Essential)

• Experience delivering projects across P2P, O2C, R2R, and Tax financial workflows.
• Hands-on experience with SAP or Oracle ERP environments and integration pathways.
• Supplier onboarding and fraud detection tooling experience (eg, Coupa, Trustpair).
• Payment platforms and standards experience (eg, Kyriba, ISO20022).
• Understanding of financial controls and access management processes.
• Familiarity with invoice-to-cash tooling (eg, Invevo).
• Experience with global tax compliance & e-invoicing systems (eg, Pagero).

Ideally, You've Also Delivered:

• Fraud detection or supplier capture tool implementations.
• Payments transformation across multi-route, multi-system environments.
• ERP/payment format standardisation involving ISO20022.
