Contract Business Analyst – Process Focused (Wealth / Investment)

We are seeking a highly experienced contract Business Analyst who is highly pragmatic and delivery focused.

This role is centred on analysing broken/inefficient processes within a wealth / investment environment and fixing them quickly. This is not a documentation heavy BA assignment, but a hands on change role.

Key Responsibilities

• Rapidly analyse end to end business processes and identify root causes of issues

• Work directly with stakeholders to stabilise and improve failing processes

• Translate analysis into practical, implementable solutions

• Support delivery teams to ensure changes land effectively

Required Experience & Skills

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst within wealth management or investment platforms

• Strong exposure to FNZ or similar wealth platforms

• Deep process analysis and improvement expertise

• Confident working in ambiguous, fast moving environments

• Action oriented mindset with a focus on outcomes, not paperwork

Role Parameters

• Contract length: Initially 3–6 months (with potential extension)

• Location: Edinburgh centred, 2–3 days per week onsite

• IR35: Outside IR35

• Rate: Negotiable
