Mploy Group is supporting a major UK-based organisation undergoing a significant technology and clinical transformation programme. We are seeking an experienced Programme Director to lead a large-scale, multi-year programme spanning technology platforms, clinical systems, operational change, and third-party delivery.
This is a high-impact leadership role, requiring someone who has successfully delivered complex enterprise programmes involving multiple workstreams, senior stakeholder engagement, and large supplier ecosystems.
You will operate at executive level, ensuring programme delivery remains aligned to strategic objectives while maintaining governance, delivery oversight, and stakeholder confidence.
The RoleThe Programme Director will be responsible for the end-to-end leadership of a complex transformation programme, bringing together clinical systems, digital platforms, operational change, and supplier delivery.
You will oversee multiple programme workstreams, coordinate internal and external delivery teams, and ensure the programme delivers measurable business and customer outcomes.
The role requires someone who is comfortable navigating large, complex organisations, balancing delivery discipline with strong stakeholder engagement across both business and technology functions.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead and direct a large-scale clinical and technology transformation programme
Establish and maintain programme governance, reporting, and delivery frameworks
Oversee multiple programme workstreams including technology delivery, clinical systems, operational change, and supplier engagement
Interface with executive leadership and senior stakeholders across business and technology functions
Manage and coordinate third-party suppliers, systems integrators, and delivery partners
Ensure programme delivery remains aligned to strategic objectives, timelines, and budgets
Identify and mitigate programme-level risks and dependencies
Drive collaboration between technology, clinical, operational and commercial teams
Ensure strong programme communication, transparency, and stakeholder engagement
Provide clear delivery leadership across a complex multi-vendor ecosystem
Proven experience operating as a Programme Director or Transformation Director within large organisations
Track record delivering complex enterprise programmes spanning technology and operational change
Experience working across clinical, healthcare, regulated or highly operational environments
Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to operate at C-suite and executive level
Experience managing large delivery teams and third-party suppliers
Strong governance, programme structure, and delivery discipline
Ability to balance strategic oversight with hands-on programme leadership
Excellent communication and leadership capability
