OneStream Consultant/Developer & Finance Systems Lead

Central London | Hybrid (2–3 days onsite)

Outside IR35 / 6-9 months

Our client are a specialist Financial Services business is seeking a highly experienced OneStream professional to take ownership of the next phase of its finance systems development.

The organisation has completed a successful OneStream implementation for consolidation, P&L reporting and core performance management. The platform is stable, trusted and the architecture is sound.

The next phase requires a senior individual who can design, advise and physically build within OneStream. Someone who is comfortable operating as the internal expert; who can translate finance requirements into technical solutions and then configure and deliver them.

The Project

You will operate as the lead OneStream specialist within Group Finance, working closely with senior finance stakeholders. This is a standalone position in practical terms. There is no large internal development team. You will have full scope to design the solution and build it.

Key areas of focus include:

• Budget to forecast process redesign and build
• Workforce planning enhancement
• Cash flow and balance sheet forecasting
• Balance sheet variance analysis and substantiation
• Advanced dashboarding and interactive reporting
• Reducing reliance on Excel through embedded system capability
• Supporting integration alignment across the wider finance systems estate

The work is clearly defined. The platform is live. The requirement now is depth of OneStream expertise and disciplined delivery.

The Ask

• Strong hands-on OneStream build experience
• Deep understanding of consolidation, planning and forecasting within OneStream
• Proven experience designing and configuring forecasting models
• Experience building dashboards, reports and finance analytics directly in the platform
• Strong understanding of finance processes including balance sheet, cash flow and workforce planning
• Ability to operate independently and take ownership of delivery

This role requires someone who can wear multiple hats. You must be able to consult with senior finance leaders, advise on best practice, and then move into configuration and build mode without relying on others to execute.
