Contract - 6 Months - Outside IR35 - Hybrid/2 days in Hatfield - Payroll Transformation

Our client is putting the world’s retailers online using the cloud, robotics, AI, and IoT, providing services to partner clients globally via innovative advanced robotics technology.

They are about innovation, doing things differently and not conforming to the status quo. We are currently looking for a Senior Payroll Transformation Professional who will have the accountability for the delivery of a large part of UK payroll (c10,000 employees), and overall responsibility to ensure international payrolls are compliant to local legislation.

Accountabilities

• Manage the team to deliver payroll processes effectively and efficiently adhering to set and agreed SLAs, KPI and policies providing a high quality user experience for colleagues and business stakeholders

• Drive and support the payroll transformation programme across strategy, provider selection, customer service focus and international expansion

• Report and present KPIs to senior management

• Support the development of the service provision strategy across all locations and develop strong relationships with UK and international service providers

• Effectively manage supplier performance to achieve agreed service levels and customer satisfaction

• Continuously improve processes leveraging automation to achieve better efficiency and customer experience and working closely with Group IT to drive and adapt system changes

• Support wider business transformation programmes with relevant expertise (e.g. Finance and People Transformations), making recommendations for improvements where relevant, championing innovation and continuous improvement

About you

• CIPP Foundation Degree (or equivalent)

• Experience of large payroll operations (c 1500 + employees), ideally across multiple international markets

• Strong demonstrable experience of people management (team of 4 FTE, incl 6 dotted line reports)

• Significant experience of payroll and HRIS applications, ideally including implementation and transformation

• Experience of customer service focused delivery in an international / global environment

• Significant experience of UK payroll, benefits and related HMRC legislation
