IT/Software Asset Management Controller at IntaPeople, Gwent, £350 to £460 per Day

We are seeking an experienced IT/Software Asset Management Controller to manage the full Software Asset Management lifecycle. This includes overseeing software acquisition, licensing, compliance, and technology roadmaps. The successful candidate will act as a key point of contact for software lifecycle management and support commercial requirements across multiple business units.Initial 6 month contract, outside IR35, hybrid (circa 2 days onsite).

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver end-to-end Software Asset Management services, from procurement to license compliance.
• Review and negotiate commercial terms, including software license agreements and loans.
• Support supplier contract management and ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Maintain accurate records of software assets and provide strategic input on technology roadmaps.

Required Experience & Skills

• IT/Software Asset Management experience
• Strong knowledge of End User License Agreements
• Commercial acumen with experience negotiating software-related contracts, and experience with Software procurement
• Understanding of procurement laws and regulation
