Solution Architect Location: Portsmouth (2 days onsite) Contract: 12 months Rate: £570/day Outside IR35 Clearance: SC (or higher) MUST BE ACTIVE As a Solution Architect, you'll design secure, scalable systems and act as the bridge between business and technical teams, ensuring strong architectural governance across the life cycle. Key Responsibilities Design and maintain solution architectures aligned to strategic goals Challenge requirements and guide technical direction Manage architectural risk and ensure GDS compliance Collaborate within Agile teams and communicate with stakeholders Produce clear, high-quality documentation Essential Skills Experience in complex solution design Kubernetes/containerisation Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) Modern security principles (Zero Trust, Secure by Design) GDS life cycle and Digital Service Assessment knowledge Experience with Power Platform, Palantir Foundry, or similar
