Job Title: EAD Circuit Design Engineer Day Rate: £300-350/day (OUTSIDE IR35) Location: Hybrid in Glasgow Contract Length: 3 years EAD Circuit Design Engineer - Role & Responsibilities Design BT/Openreach EAD / Ethernet Access Direct and carrier Ethernet circuits for utility substation environments. Assess site feasibility using Openreach survey outputs, identifying access constraints, routing limitations, and delivery risks. Produce implementation-ready HLD/LLD design packs, including circuit diagrams, BoM, and as-built documentation. Evaluate EMI/EMC, Earth Potential Rise (EPR), and fibre vs copper suitability for high-voltage or sensitive sites.
