Security Engineer (Contract) – Outside IR35- Cardiff- 6 months £595 p/day We’re looking for an experienced Security Engineer to join a major defence project. This is a contract role, evaluated as Outside IR35. Key Responsibilities: Develop and deliver security architecture and documentation for complex systems. Provide security guidance across engineering decisions and ensure compliance with standards. Support accreditation processes and maintain security assurance throughout the project lifecycle. Collaborate with design and test teams to ensure secure implementation and integration. Hands-on involvement in Model-Based Systems Engineering and open architecture development. Ideal Candidate: Strong defence sector background with experience in security frameworks such as ISO27001, IS1&2, NIST SP 800-53, and others.
