Role: Senior Software Engineer Location: Essex – 5 days a week onsite Pay rate: £600-£700p/d (outside IR35) I’m looking for an experienced C++ engineer looking to work on genuinely complex, mission-critical software. This role is fully on-site, 5 days a week. We're working with a global company based in Essex, seeking an experienced Software Engineer to develop and maintain sophisticated integrated monitoring and automation systems. You'll be working with: • C++ Windows application development (Visual Studio) • Real-time, high-volume data transfer • Serial interfaces and protocols - RS232, RS422, CAN Bus, ModBus, NMEA • Multi-threaded architectures Experience with Qt, TCP/UDP, DirectX/OpenGL or Google Protocol Buffers would be a bonus.
