Field Engineer: PSBA Rationalisation/Structured Cabling Programme Location: South and Mid Wales - field-based Duration: Approximately 12-18 months Role overview We require an experienced Structured Cabling Field Engineer to support the PSBA Rationalisation Programme across South and Mid Wales. The engineer will attend the client's exchange and other designated programme locations to install, route, terminate, test and document copper and fibre cabling infrastructure. Field Engineer: PSBA End-of-Life Network Refresh Programme Location: Wales Duration: Approximately 18-24 months Role overview We require an experienced Network Field Engineer to support the PSBA End-of-Life Programme. The programme involves replacing pre-configured end-of-life Routers and Switches at customer sites. The engineer will be primarily responsible for the physical installation, cabling, commissioning support, and verification of Cisco and Juniper equipment. Configuration and migration activities may be carried out by remote Network or Project Engineers. Key responsibilities Attend customer sites to support network refresh and migration activities. Remove end-of-life Routers, Switches and associated equipment. Install, rack, cable and power pre-configured Cisco and Juniper network equipment. Complete like-for-like equipment replacements or installations in accordance with the project design. Connect copper, fibre, console and management interfaces....
