Contract Details Job Title: Firmware Engineer Duration: 8 months (initially) Location: Hybrid (3 days per week), Reading Outside IR35 £50-£60 per hour SC eligibility required Key Responsibilities Design and develop embedded firmware for advanced radar systems, supporting the full product lifecycle from concept through to integration, verification and production. Develop firmware for FPGA-based and embedded processing platforms using C/C++ and Verilog, interfacing with high-speed digital electronics, sensors and communication protocols. Perform firmware integration, debugging and verification using laboratory equipment including oscilloscopes, logic analysers, JTAG debuggers and protocol analysers, ensuring compliance with system and performance requirements.
