Technical Data Consultant - 3 Month Contract Up to £550 P/D Outside IR35 Manchester - Hybrid (x2 days a week) We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established gambling and gaming organisation seeking a Technical Data Consultant to support a focused discovery and documentation engagement. This is a hands-on contract for someone who enjoys stepping into complex, legacy-leaning data environments and making them understandable, supportable, and less reliant on individual knowledge. The role You'll be brought in to: Investigate and reverse-engineer live data platforms with limited documentation Build a clear picture of the current-state data architecture and data flows Review and document business-critical SQL and transformation logic Produce practical operational documentation and runbooks Work closely with long-tenured engineers to capture knowledge and reduce key-person risk The focus is clarity, stability, and handover - not greenfield delivery or re-platforming....
