Network Infrastructure Engineer (Contract): Location: Newport (on-site / hybrid as required) Contract: 12 months Rate: £600 per day IR35: Outside IR35 Overview: We’re looking for a hands-on Network Infrastructure Engineer to support and maintain a secure enterprise LAN environment. This is a delivery-focused role suited to someone operating around CCNA / CCNP level, comfortable working across network security, access control, and core LAN services. Requirements: :
Support and maintain LAN infrastructure in a secure enterprise environment
Configure and troubleshoot firewalls and proxy services
Operate and support Network Access Control (NAC) using Cisco ISE
Manage remote access solutions (Cisco VPN / AAA)
Support DDI services (DNS, DHCP, IPAM), ideally using EfficientIP
Investigate incidents, implement fixes, and support ongoing network improvements
