Cabling Engineer - Bristol Location: Bristol Duration: 6 months Hours: Monday -Friday, 37.5 hours per week Rate: Up to £180 per day IR35: Outside IR35 Working arrangement: Fully onsite - no hybrid working Clearance: BPSS required We are looking for an experienced Senior Cabling Engineer to join an installation team delivering network infrastructure works. Key Responsibilities Installation of network cabinets and primary/secondary containment systems. Installation and termination of Cat6/Cat6A structured cabling. Copper patching and network switch installation. Installation, termination and testing of fibre optic cabling, including pit and duct routes. Fibre circuit patching and fault finding, including use of OTDR equipment . Testing and certification of copper and fibre cabling using Fluke testers . Working to RAMS, project installation methods and site H &S requirements....
