Contract Description

We are looking for a Lead Data Analyst to work in the Market Performance team within a global leading company. The role has been deemed outside IR35. You will have strong SQL or Python Data experience and have had experience working within either Paid Media, Digital Agency or PPC

We are looking for candidates with prior experience performing data analysis to inform marketing decision-making, especially in channels such as paid search and paid social media. Experience analysing raw datasets in SQL or Python wand candidates with experience using insight to inform decision-making in marketing activity.

What you will be doing

  • Collaborate closely with marketing teams to understand their needs
  • Acquire data from partners and agencies relating to campaign performance
  • Work with our implementation teams to ensure we are tracking necessary data internally
  • Analyse these datasets using a combination of tools including SQL
  • Produce and communicate insight relating to campaign performance
  • Agree KPIs for measuring performance and establish appropriate reporting
  • Participate in strategic discussion and make recommendations based on insights you uncover
  • Work with marketing, technology teams and data scientists to define targeting criteria and support execution of campaigns based on those criteria

Experience
  • Ability to examine data critically to extract meaningful insights
  • Ability to communicate findings clearly to non-technical colleagues
  • Experience producing insight from data related to marketing campaigns
  • Knowledge of the marketing tools and technologies (eg paid search, social media platforms, analytics, CRM systems)
  • Experience using SQL and/or Python for large-scale data analysis
  • Experience working in a digital subscription or online retail business
  • A meticulous approach to all work, completed to high level of quality
  • The ability to work under time pressure while providing high quality output
  • The ability to work on your own with conviction to prioritise workload
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Team work
