GCP Data Engineer at Xcede, Multiple Locations, £Contract Rate

Senior Data Engineer – GCP / Azure / AWS2 Contract Positions £400 per day Outside IR35 Fully Remote (UK)
We are looking for 2 experienced Senior Data Engineers to join our client on a contract basis, working on large-scale cloud data platforms, modern data engineering solutions and enterprise analytics.
Location: UK-based, fully remote with occasional client office visits as required
Day Rate: £400 per day
IR35 Status: Outside IR35

Key Skills & Experience:

• Strong experience in Data Engineering across GCP, Azure and/or AWS.
• Hands-on experience with BigQuery, Databricks, Snowflake or Microsoft Fabric.
• Strong Python, SQL and PySpark development skills.
• Experience building scalable ETL/ELT pipelines and data integration solutions.
• Experience with DBT, Airflow, Azure Data Factory or Dataflow.
• Knowledge of data modelling, data warehousing and Lakehouse architectures.
• Experience with data quality, governance and CI/CD pipelines.
• Exposure to Kafka, Spark Streaming or real-time data processing would be advantageous.

Requirements:

• Ideally 7+ years of commercial Data Engineering experience.
• Strong hands-on technical background in cloud-based data platforms.
• Must be UK-based and available for occasional client office visits.
