Cloud Security Engineer at Barclay Simpson Recruitment, Remote, £Contract Rate

Large enterprise seeks multiple cloud security engineers to be part of a large-scale cloud security remediation programme.

These are hands-on engineering/configuration roles. You'll be responsible for rolling security guardrails into production and remediating existing cloud resources that don't meet the required security baseline.

Key areas include cloud security controls, public exposure, IAM/least privilege, policy-as-code, production remediation and audit-to-enforcement transitions. The company is seeking candidates with experience in either AWS, Azure or GCP.

Depending on your cloud platform expertise, you'll work with controls such as AWS SCPs, Azure Policy/Management Groups or GCP Org Policies/IAM, alongside tooling including Terraform, Prisma Cloud, native CSP security tooling, GitOps and CI/CD.

Candidates should have strong, current hands-on security engineering experience in their respective cloud platform, ideally within a large enterprise estate.

Outside IR35 day rate, rolling contract. Remote with occasional trips to London.
