Ready to shape the future of enterprise technology? We're looking for an exceptional Principal Solutions Architect to make an immediate impact.

We are working with a leading global technology and digital transformation organisation seeking an accomplished Thought Leader & Principal Solutions Architect to join their team on an initial 3-month contract with a view for extenssion!

This is an exciting opportunity for a senior technology leader who combines exceptional architectural expertise, commercial awareness and the ability to influence C-suite stakeholders.

You'll play a pivotal role in shaping enterprise technology strategies, advising senior clients and translating emerging innovations into tangible business outcomes.

Immediate availability is highly desirable, as the client is looking to move quickly.

You'll operate at the intersection of enterprise architecture, digital strategy and hands-on technology delivery.

Working closely with senior client stakeholders, you'll shape technology roadmaps, lead architectural discussions, drive Proofs of Concept (PoCs) and explore emerging technologies, including GenAI, Agentic AI and cloud-native solutions.

You'll also have the opportunity to establish yourself as a technology thought leader through industry insights, technical articles and whitepapers.

• Enterprise Architecture: Design scalable, future-ready enterprise solutions and translate complex business requirements into technical architectures and strategic roadmaps.

• Technology Innovation: Lead rapid Proofs of Concept, develop reusable frameworks and accelerate modern engineering practices.

• Thought Leadership: Research emerging technology trends, particularly GenAI, Agentic AI and cloud-native architectures, and produce technical articles and whitepapers.

• Executive Stakeholder Engagement: Build trusted relationships with CTOs, CIOs and senior business leaders, providing strategic technology advice.

• Pre-Sales & Advisory: Lead technical discovery, architecture assessments, client presentations and contribute to competitive enterprise RFPs.

• Governance & Risk: Embed architectural best practices around security, scalability, data compliance and regulatory requirements, including UK GDPR and DORA where relevant.

• Technical Leadership: Mentor and guide cross-functional engineering teams across onshore and offshore delivery environments.

• 10+ years of software engineering and technology experience.

• 4+ years in a Principal Architect, Enterprise Architect or senior technology advisory role.

• Proven experience engaging and influencing UK enterprise clients and C-level stakeholders.

• Strong expertise across .NET Core/C#, Java/Spring Boot, microservices and modern enterprise architecture.

• Experience with AWS, Azure or GCP cloud platforms.

• Understanding of cloud-native, serverless, event-driven and hexagonal architecture patterns.

• Knowledge of AI/GenAI integrations and emerging technology trends.

• Experience leading technical discovery, pre-sales engagements and Proofs of Concept.

• Strong understanding of Agile delivery and onshore/offshore team leadership.

Desirable:

• Published technical articles, whitepapers or industry contributions.

• Experience speaking at technology conferences or industry forums.

• A recognised presence within the technology community.

• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business value.
