Delivery Lead Outside IR35: £550 - £600 p/d Primarily remote, ad hoc travel to London possibly required 16th Nov start, 5 month initial contract. Extensions to follow 4 days a week up to Xmas, 3 days a week from Jan - Mar

The project

Our client, a digital consultancy with a long track record in UK government, is building a new shared Intranet for two large national public sector organisations. The project merges content from their two current intranets into a single site with a new information architecture.

You'll lead delivery of the new Intranet from kick-off to launch, taking the team through agile phases in line with government ways of working.

• Set up and run the delivery approach: plan, roadmap, ceremonies, RAID log and reporting
• Lead a multidisciplinary team through discovery, Alpha and beta
• Plan and track the migration of content from two sites into one, including dependencies and cutover
• Keep senior stakeholders in both organisations aligned on scope, progress and decisions
• Spot risks and blockers early and clear them
• Work with the Product Owner on priorities and release plans

• Delivery lead or delivery manager experience on UK government digital projects
• A track record of running work through agile phases (discovery, alpha, beta, live) to GDS ways of working
• Website development projects, ideally including content migration or a new information architecture
• Confident facilitation of agile ceremonies with multidisciplinary teams
• Senior stakeholder management across more than one organisation
• Experience leading remote teams
