IFS Finance Functional Consultant - Outside IR35 at Harris Global, UK, 6 Months, £Contract Rate

We are looking for an experienced IFS Finance Functional Consultant to support a major IFS Finance project, working closely with finance stakeholders and the wider technology team to deliver functional solutions across the business.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on consultant with strong IFS Finance knowledge and experience supporting system implementation, configuration and process improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with Finance and business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into functional solutions.

• Support the configuration and implementation of IFS Finance modules.

• Lead functional workshops, requirements gathering and process mapping.

• Support finance process design across areas such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Fixed Assets.

• Produce functional specifications and support solution design.

• Work closely with technical teams, developers and implementation partners.

• Support system testing, UAT, defect resolution and deployment.

• Identify opportunities to improve finance processes and maximise the value of the IFS platform.

Experience Required

• Strong hands-on experience as an IFS Finance Functional Consultant.

• Experience working on IFS implementation, upgrade or transformation projects.

• Good knowledge of core finance modules, ideally GL, AP, AR and Fixed Assets.

• Experience gathering requirements and translating business needs into functional designs.

• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

• Experience supporting testing, go-live and post-implementation activities.
