Technical Delivery Manager - £700 pd Outside IR35 – Mainly remote

We are looking for an experienced Technical Delivery Manager to join a major technology transformation programme within a leading global professional services organisation.

The successful candidate will lead complex technology delivery across Azure cloud, data platforms, application modernisation and DevOps, working closely with senior stakeholders and engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own end-to-end technical delivery across multiple workstreams and releases.
• Lead Agile delivery, sprint planning, backlog management and release governance.
• Oversee cloud, data engineering, application development and DevOps teams.
• Manage risks, dependencies, timelines and stakeholder expectations.
• Work closely with architects and engineers to ensure successful technical delivery.
• Drive engineering best practices, quality assurance and production readiness.

Key Skills & Experience:

• 10+ years' experience in technology delivery, with 5+ years in a leadership role.
• Strong experience delivering enterprise-scale cloud and data transformation programmes.
• Technical knowledge of Azure, Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory and Power BI.
• Understanding of .NET, Angular, APIs, microservices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong Agile delivery experience using Jira and/or Azure DevOps.
• Excellent senior stakeholder management and experience leading distributed engineering teams.
• Experience within financial services, professional services or regulated environments is desirable.

We're looking for a technically credible Delivery Manager, not just a traditional Project Manager, who can confidently engage with engineering teams and drive complex enterprise technology programmes.

Location: London – mainly remote

Rate: £700 per day Outside IR35
