Contract - ML Data Engineer - Outside IR35 at Dumont Group, London Area, £400–£500 per day

I’m recruiting for a Contract ML Data Engineer with Databricks, AWS and streaming experience.

Key details:

• Stack: Databricks on AWS, PySpark, Spark Structured Streaming, Kafka/Kinesis, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, Python and SQL
• Experience: High-volume streaming pipelines and feature engineering for production ML models
• Day rate: £400–£500 per day (negotiable)
• Length: 3 months, with a possible extension to the end of Q1 2027
• Status: Outside IR35
• Location: Hybrid in London, 2 days per week
• Start: Immediate

You’ll own the pipeline from the event stream through to the feature store, working closely with data scientists to build features for a click-through-rate ranking model. The environment processes over 10 billion events per day, so production streaming experience is key.
