EIS Developer | Contract | Remote UK

I'm working with a leading insurer that's modernising its core platform on EIS, and they need a strong EIS developer to join the delivery team.

You'll be hands-on in the build, configuring and extending the EIS platform across policy, billing and/or claims, and integrating it with the systems around it. It's a high-visibility programme with real investment behind it and a team that knows what it's doing.

What you'll be doing

• Developing and configuring components across the EIS Suite (PolicyCore, BillingCore, ClaimCore, CustomerCore)
• Building integrations with external systems such as payment gateways, finance, document generation and data platforms
• Working in an Agile team with BAs, testers and architects from design through to release
• Taking part in code reviews, demos and technical discussions
• Supporting CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices

What you'll bring

• Hands-on development experience with EIS Suite/EIS OneSuite (Exigen experience also considered)
• Strong Java skills, including Spring, REST APIs and microservices
• Experience integrating core insurance platforms with third-party systems
• A background in P&C, life or group benefits insurance
• Comfortable in Agile delivery environments

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
• Experience with other core platforms such as Guidewire, Duck Creek or Sapiens
• Greenfield or major upgrade experience on EIS v12+
