We're looking for an experienced Senior Python Developer to join a high-profile programme delivering modern web applications and services within an AWS environment.

This is a hands-on software engineering role focused on building production-grade applications, APIs and Back End services. It is not a data science, analytics or data engineering position.

Key Skills

Extensive commercial Python development experience
Strong experience building production-grade web applications and services
REST API design, development and integration
AWS cloud development and deployment
Object-oriented design and software engineering best practices
Git, CI/CD and modern development practices
Automated testing and code quality practices
Experience working within Agile delivery teams

What You'll Be Doing

Design, develop and maintain scalable Python applications and services
Build Back End components, APIs and Middleware integrations
Develop secure, maintainable and reusable software solutions
Integrate applications with databases, external services and enterprise systems
Deploy and support application components within AWS
Contribute to testing, code reviews and CI/CD processes
Troubleshoot and resolve application and integration issues
Collaborate with architects, developers and delivery teams to deliver high-quality software
