Contract Change Manager needed for a UK lender's new lending platform, with a strong focus on mortgage brokers and intermediaries. Outside IR35, £500 to £550 per day, home based.

Location: Home Counties. Home based, with occasional site visits (around one day a fortnight)

The role

Our client is introducing a new lending platform. A large share of their business comes through brokers, so preparing the broker community matters as much as preparing their own teams. They need an experienced contract Change Manager to lead business change and readiness for both.

You must have

• Experience of mortgage distribution through brokers or intermediaries, such as broker onboarding, broker journeys, intermediary communications or broker support
• A track record of leading business change and readiness on a new system implementation in lending or financial services
• An understanding of the end-to-end lending process, from application to completion
• Change management methods such as Prosci or ADKAR, change impact assessment, stakeholder management, training and go-live readiness

What you will deliver

• Broker rollout: agree the priority broker journeys, coordinate usability testing with brokers, and plan a phased go-live with onboarding, guidance, communications and support
• Business readiness: assess the impact on each team, set readiness criteria and give evidence-based recommendations for go-live decisions
• Training: role-based learning for each affected team, backed by a super-user network
• Process: agree and document the new working procedures with process owners
• Engagement: stakeholder plans, a change champion network and communications timed to each milestone
• Hypercare and handover: post-launch support, adoption reporting and a clean handover to named business owners

This is an outcomes-based engagement. You decide the approach and sequencing, and the client provides access to the people, information and environments you need.
