Cyber Security Architect/Consultant (Azure, Microsoft Security, CrowdStrike, Entra ID, Sentinel) - £750 per day, Outside IR35! A Cyber Security Architect/Consultant (Azure, Microsoft Security, CrowdStrike, Entra ID, Sentinel) is required for a major new government initiative, helping build its security capabilities ahead of an October 2027 launch.

*Location no issue - work from home.*

Working alongside a former CISO in a small, fast-moving organisation, you'll have genuine technical ownership, taking security solutions from design through to delivery.

The ideal Cyber Security Architect/Consultant will have:

• Security Architecture: Hands-on experience as a Senior Security Architect or Deputy CISO within an end-client environment.
• Microsoft Security: Strong experience with Azure, Entra ID, Sentinel, Microsoft Defender and Defender for Cloud.
• CrowdStrike: Proven design experience across endpoint and identity security.
• Security Operations: Monitoring, telemetry, vulnerability management, incident response, threat modelling and security controls.
• Governance & Compliance
• Delivery: Experience in smaller, fast-paced organisations, working with internal teams and external partners.

As a Cyber Security Architect/Consultant, you'll be the technical right hand to the Cyber lead, driving hands-on security architecture and delivery.

You'll take ownership of monitoring, vulnerability remediation, incident response and security controls across Azure, using Microsoft Security technologies including Entra ID and Sentinel, alongside CrowdStrike. Working with architecture and platform teams, you'll ensure security solutions are delivered effectively, integrating Azure, Entra ID, Sentinel and CrowdStrike within a multi-vendor environment.
