Interim BI and Data Manager at Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited, Whitchurch, £500-£650 per day

Your new role
You will be a member of the senior leadership team, overseeing the areas of BI and data solutions. You will have oversight of approx. 10 people in the direct team, overseeing the BI report development pipeline, Fabric data platform development and data engineering, as well as new AI and machine learning development for data solutions. You will have technical leadership responsibilities and will be supporting the digital solutions and delivery restructure. You will be the project lead for the data platforms project and will lead and support a number of internal groups. This role will play a critical part in implementing the new Fabric Data Platform and migration of Oracle legacy data warehouse.
What you 'll need to succeed
You will have held a similar position within a busy IT department where you have had responsibility for BI, data, analytics and integration. You will ideally have experience with AI and ML to support the adoption of these tools throughout the organisation. You will also have experience working within Higher Education.

What you 'll get in return
This is a 9-month contract, outside IR35, with scope to extend. One-stage interview with the aim to start within the coming weeks. This role will require some presence on-site in the South UK.
