Location: Remote, with travel to the office as needed

Synergetic is recruiting an experienced Power BI Developer to design and deliver reporting solutions using Microsoft Power BI and Microsoft Fabric. You'll work closely with Data Engineers and business stakeholders to turn curated data into interactive dashboards and actionable business insights.

What you'll do

• Design, build and maintain interactive Power BI reports and dashboards

• Develop reporting solutions using Microsoft Fabric, OneLake, Lakehouses and Data Warehouses

• Build and maintain semantic models to support consistent, high-performing reporting

• Create intuitive dashboards applying strong UI/UX and data visualisation principles

• Work with Data Engineers to consume curated gold-layer datasets

• Identify data quality issues and ensure accurate, reliable reporting

• Manage Power BI assets using Git, CI/CD and DevOps practices

• Gather stakeholder requirements, document solutions and support self-service BI adoption

What you'll need

• Active SC clearance (Mandatory, will not put candidates through clearance)

• Strong hands-on Power BI development and dashboard design experience

• Experience with Microsoft Fabric, OneLake and Lakehouses or Data Warehouses

• Strong data modelling and semantic modelling skills

• Experience working with curated datasets and Data Engineering teams

• Understanding of Git, CI/CD and DevOps practices

• Strong stakeholder engagement, requirements gathering and communication skills

• Experience with DAX, Power Query, star schemas and medallion architecture desirable
