Bench IT require an experience and Senior Network Engineer to join a global organisation starting ASAP. The Senior Network Engineer will be working remotely however, please note that there will be occasional travel to Glasgow. The successful Engineer should have the skills and experience included below;

Essential Skills & Experience

• Strong hands-on experience with Zscaler technologies.
• Strong hands-on experience with Guardicore micro-segmentation solutions.
• Strong hands-on experience with LogicMonitor monitoring and observability platforms.
• Strong hands-on experience supporting F5 LTM, TLS Offload, and WAF technologies.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services.
• Experience building and maintaining Azure DevOps pipelines and automation workflows.
• Strong understanding of enterprise networking concepts including routing, switching, firewalls, VPN technologies, and load balancing.
• Experience supporting enterprise monitoring and observability platforms.
• Scripting and automation experience using PowerShell, Python, YAML, Terraform, ARM, or Bicep.
• Experience operating within ITIL-aligned support environments.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Excellent stakeholder communication and technical documentation abilities.

Desirable Skills & Experience

• Experience within a Managed Service Provider (MSP) or enterprise operations environment.
• Knowledge of Cisco networking technologies, Cisco ISE, Cisco ASA, and Cisco AnyConnect.
• Experience with CI/CD tooling and Git-based workflows.
• Relevant vendor certifications across Microsoft Azure, Zscaler, F5, or security technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• The Senior Network Security & Automation Engineer will play a key role in maintaining secure, reliable, and highly available infrastructure services while driving automation and operational efficiency improvements across enterprise environments.
• Provide operational support and engineering expertise across enterprise network security platforms.
• Support and administer Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA) and Zscaler Private Access (ZPA) environments.
• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Guardicore micro-segmentation solutions.
• Administer and support LogicMonitor monitoring infrastructure including configuration, alert tuning, patching, upgrades, and integrations.
• Support and optimise F5 platforms including Local Traffic Manager (LTM), TLS Offload (TLSO), and Web Application Firewall (WAF).
• Develop and maintain Azure automation workflows and DevOps pipelines.
• Create automation scripts and infrastructure-as-code solutions to improve operational efficiency.
• Participate in knowledge transfer sessions and contribute to technical documentation.
• Work closely with cybersecurity teams to implement policy-driven security controls.
• Support incident response, root cause analysis, and problem management activities.
• Assist with service transition activities and onboarding of new customer environments.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to internal cross-skilling initiatives.
