Full Stack Engineer (Frontend Leaning) – React | Nest.js | TypeScript

Fully Remote (UK) – Central London office available

Up to £550/day | Outside IR35

Oliver Bernard are working with a well-known global brand looking for 2 x Full Stack Engineers to join a new long term project.

This is a frontend-leaning full stack role. You'll spend most of your time building React features, and also develop the Nest.js backend and GraphQL APIs that power them. It's ideal for a strong TypeScript engineer who enjoys working across the whole stack, with React as their main strength.

The role is fully remote for UK-based contractors. The client has an office in Central London, so candidates in or around London are slightly preferred.

What you'll be doing

• Building and shipping frontend features in React and TypeScript

• Developing and maintaining server-side logic in Nest.js

• Designing, building and managing GraphQL APIs

What you'll need

• Strong commercial experience with React and TypeScript (essential)

• Hands-on experience with Nest.js (essential)

• Practical experience with both REST and GraphQL APIs

• Solid knowledge of relational databases (e.g. PostgreSQL)

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud platforms, ideally GCP

• Experience with testing frameworks such as Playwright
