DV Cleared Security Engineer at Fuel Recruitment, Farnborough, 3 Months, £600 per day

We are looking for a DV cleared Security Engineer to work for one of our clients in the defence sector. As a Security Engineer you will help design, build and deliver secure digital solutions in highly secure environments.

Your work may include:

• Documenting security configuration of information systems.

• Proactive management of technical vulnerabilities.

• Deployment of security tooling (vulnerability scanning/SIEM/etc).

• Deploying secure lockdowns to information systems.

• Deployment of security testing tools to CI/CD pipelines.

What We re Looking For

We value people who take ownership, think critically, and enjoy working as part of a collaborative team tackling complex challenges. You don't need to tick every box, but we re particularly interested in people with skills/experience in:

• Knowledge of configuring SIEM tooling.

• Basic understanding of threat frameworks, such as ATT&CK.

• Understanding of CI/CD tools required to secure a pipeline.

• High standards in written report and/or design documentation.

Experience

• Experience of supporting information systems in a government or defence sector;

• Development of SOC Use Cases and Playbooks

• Hands-on experience of configuring CI/CD tools and Kubernetes;

• Knowledge of MOD policies (eg JSP 440);

• Experience of working with MOD Assurance.

• Knowledge of Windows, Linux and networking fundamentals.

• Elastic EDR

This is an outside IR35 role which will require you to be onsite 3 days a week in Farnborough.

All candidates must be sole British nationals and hold active DV clearance.
