Oracle DBA | Outside IR35 | AWS | SC Cleared | Hybrid at Tecknuovo Ltd, London/Sheffield, £600-£650 per day

We are seeking an experienced Actively SC Cleared Oracle DBA to support a major data transformation and modernisation programme. This role will focus on the management, optimisation and migration of Oracle database environments, supporting cloud adoption initiatives and ensuring resilient, secure and high-performing data platforms.

You will work within agile delivery teams, providing hands-on expertise across Oracle 19c, AWS, AWS DMS, database migration, automation and modern DevOps practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and review existing Oracle database environments, configurations and operational processes.
• Support database migration, upgrade and modernisation initiatives.
• Manage and optimise Oracle 19c database performance, availability and reliability.
• Design and implement secure, scalable database solutions within AWS environments.
• Support AWS DMS migration and replication activities.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for database deployments and change management.
• Implement database monitoring, backup, recovery and disaster recovery processes.
• Support database security, governance and compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers and stakeholders across delivery teams.
• Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement activities.

Essential Experience & Skills

• Strong experience as an Oracle DBA.
• Extensive experience administering and supporting Oracle 19c environments.
• Experience working with AWS cloud services and database deployments.
• Strong experience with AWS Database Migration Service (AWS DMS).
• Experience supporting database migration and modernisation programmes.
• Experience implementing CI/CD and database automation practices.
• Strong understanding of database performance tuning, optimisation and troubleshooting.
• Experience working within agile delivery environments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Contract Details

• Engagement: £600 - £650/day (Outside IR35)
• Clearance: Active SC Clearance Required
• Location: Primarily Remote with Occasional London/Sheffield Travel
• Start Date: 9th November 2026
• Duration: Initially until March 2027
