Senior Data Engineer (Databricks) - Out IR35, £600/day at Sentinel, London, 6 Months, to £600 per day outside IR35

Work anywhere in the UK outside IR35 helping this large retailer improve their marketing decisions related to consumer data.

You'll own workflow orchestration within a 6 person data team, creating production pipelines to aid CRM decisioning. Your day will be a mix of client requirements understanding, data engineering, orchestration, testing and production support.

As someone dealing directly with people on the business side, a consulting background would be helpful. You'll absolutely have advanced Databricks, Python/Spark and SQL skills, with a strong sense of DevOps.

There's visibility of work until end of 2027 and beyond, you might have to go to a workshop 1-2 times per year, but otherwise you'll be WFH working with a supportive team of tech experts.

You must be able to start in October/early Nov at the latest. We have stated London (because we have to submit a nominal location) but we welcome applications from all over the UK. £500 - £600/day.
